Service Description

Inviting all girls aged 8 - 14 to join us and embark on an unforgettable summer adventure at the Summer Holiday Unplugged Club! Running for four weeks from July 23rd to August 16th, our club offers a unique opportunity for girls to unplug from screens and swap screen time for green time. Young people spend an average of 7.5 hours a day on screens, compared to spending less than 1 hour outdoors. Many young people report feeling lonely and bored. This combination of high screen-time and low green-time negatively impacts the well-being of all, with girls being more likely to suffer from mental health disorders than boys. At our Summer Holiday Unplugged Club, we're committed to bringing balance and helping young children swap Screen Time for Green Time! Our engaging outdoor experiences are designed to foster creativity, nurture social skills, and promote emotional well-being. From nature-inspired crafts to cooking over an open fire, developing bushcraft skills to gardening, upcycling, and relaxing in hammocks, each day promises new adventures and discoveries. What's Included: - Exciting nature-based activities: creative crafts, upcycling, cooking over fire, active time, learning new skills - Hot chocolate, marshmallows, and popcorn - Expert guidance and supervision from our experienced team Cost: - £47 per day - £135 per week - £500 for 4 weeks Limited spots available. We've received overwhelmingly positive feedback from both the girls and their parents! Many parents have reported that their daughters had such a great time that they booked them for additional clubs after attending once. Here are some of the glowing testimonials from our previous participants: What children and parents think of the unplugged clubs: "I experience more being at the unplugged club." Participant, age 12 "A.. had such an amazing time at Unplugged. She was so happy & full of energy after the club. She got creative at the club and followed that on at home, which was great to see. She even expressed that she wanted to go camping as she loved the club so much! When I said to A.. that you’d be doing an after-school club, she was so happy & jumping around with excitement!" Parent "R... really enjoyed the club and was upset to think she couldn’t come the second day. She enjoyed the small group atmosphere." If you're experiencing financial difficulties, please don't hesitate to contact us. We may be able to arrange coverage through your child's school
