Join Kate Ray certified Mindful Nature Connection Guide, for a Mindful walk around the beautiful Bushy Park Woodland Gardens. Mindful Walking is the perfect exercise to keep your mind and body healthy and there are many reasons why it's good for the wellbeing. Some of the scientifically-proven benefits of spending active time outdoors include: - Boosts immune system - Reduces stress and improves mood - Relaxes body and calms mind - Helps feeling happier - Increases ability to focus and be more creative - Increases energy level - Improves sleep & speeds up recovery from surgery or illness During a guided Mindful Nature Connection Walk you will be introduced to different mindfulness exercises that will help to calm your mind and relax your body, bringing the feeling of being more grounded and happier. You will be also shown how to use your senses and connect with the healing power of nature. This will be a mixed pace walk. Please ensure you bring weather appropriate footwear and clothing. We will be on footpaths, but may encounter muddy patches. The walk will start at 10:30am but please arrive earlier as the car-park can get busy. I aim to finish the walk by 12:30pm.
